Rooted in Nature.

Fueled by Story.

Hey, I’m Kelly!

I am crazy about nature, story and community.  I want to use my gifts of teaching and art to build community for positive change.

Teaching & Healing Through Creativity

I have taught many things for many years for all ages. My favorite positions have been teaching and/or using art to help kids learn Social Emotions skills.

  • I have seen first hand the power of healing and growth through art, all while having some serious fun!

  • Making art is hands-on learning of creative problem solving and group cooperation skills- both are crucial for success in everyday life.

  • Group art builds social connection and community.

Building Community Through Art

Any group art project builds community.  It can be something simple like leading an art project for a birthday party for a small group of kids to managing a giant mural in which many in the community are involved in different ways. It is also just hanging out at a table with friends and family, creating different  projects. Sharing a creative experience with others is the key to building community. From there, relationships, connections and knowledge grows.
